Allergies to alcohol

A friend of mine is allergic to alcohol. And not just to one particular kind like wine, or rum, or vodka. To all! She can still drink it and all, but as soon as she smells it or tries it, she starts sneezing. So last night we were having some drinks, actually we had one too many, and she sneezed 29 times in about 3.5 hrs. (and that’s after I forgot to mark some down) On and off. They would come in threes or fourths or fifths, one after another.

So, are you allergic to alcohol? If so, what does it do to you?
