Happy birthday to my sweet little niece who turned 9 today!!

a little too late, but….

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR AVA,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

Wow, I can’t believe my little baby girl turned 2! Where has the time gone by?! Where did my baby girl go?!

It seems like it was yesterday, this little tiny person was laying in my arms and just looking around and today she is in her own little world. She is walking and running and climbing (OMG!! climbing everything). She is starting to talk and argue and even talk back. She is becoming so Miss independent. I do it and I don’t need your help!

She gets a long with her brother very well, for the most part. I can tell she loves him so much, even though she can’t really express it yet. But she does give kisses and hugs. And a bang on his head here and there.

So for her birthday we went to Disneyland. It was our first time at Disneyland as a family. We had so much fun!!!

At first I was kind of worried that they might be a little too young and be afraid of the characters and scared to go on the rides. But I was so wrong. We saw a lot of the character and kids walked right up to them and were cheesing for the photos, giving hugs and high fives to them. It was cute!

They did very well with the rides too. At first Kapitonas was afraid to go on that kids rollercoaster at the end of the Toon Town (forgot what the rollercoaster is called), so me and Princess went on it and she loved it! Then Daddy and Princess went on and then finally we all went on. Kapitonas was a little nervous, but did well on the ride and wanted to go again.

They loved all the other kiddie rides. Kept asking us if we’re gonna go on another ride again. They even did pretty good in the lines, well pretty good for a 2 and a 3 year olds. We also met a friend of ours there and her 2 and 3 year olds. The kids kept entertaining each other in the lines.

Lines for the rides were not bad at all. We went on a Thursday, but what we didn’t know is that Thursday it was Grad Night, so there was a little more people then usual and the park closed at 9 instead of 10. On the weekends it stays open until midnight.

Last Sunday we wnt to Disney’s California Adventure Park. Had lots of fun again, but more about it next time.
