Springing forward!
Wow, it’s that time again. I can’t believe how early it is this year. But I’m not complaining! I’m actually looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to the kids, mainly Princess, sleeping in an hour longer, and I’m looking forward to having longer days. I can start walking in the evenings now. It will be much warmer and I will have one less excuse to use about the walking. he he
Speaking of exercise, I’m really going to start exercising more and eating healthier and NOT eating anything late at night. That is my worst habit. It’s not even that I’m hungry, it’s just that I’m bored (even though I’d be watching TV, or on the computer, or knitting (I will tell you all about it later)). Plus the food is always just there and is calling my name. But I don’t want not to have the food/snacks, I want to really start controlling my addiction. Like right now, I’m sitting at the computer and typing this all up and I’m so wanting some Mini Eggs. And I have them, they’re right there in my kitchen, but I’m not going to get them. I’m just not.
Well, it’s getting late and I’ve had a long, but fun day today with my family, so I better get going.
Don’t forget to spring forward your clock’s!
I am back! :)
I know I know, I have been a horrible blogger in the last what, like 2 months. Honestly, just had no motivation, no real free time to sit down and not be interrupted for 30 minutes. And if I had some piece and quiet, I was catching up on some TV shows.
I hope that somebody is still reading this. I’ve been still following some of the blogs and some people have been having fun blogging, and some I haven’t seen any post in a while too.
Hopefully you all be back!
A quick update. Kids are growing like weeds, and getting smarter and smarten each and every day, sometimes I even wonder if they’re too smart for their own good?! I’m still here, still the same, trying to control this crazy life. Hubby is there and the same too. ![]()
For over a week now we’ve been sick. It started with Kapitonas getting a cold (or so we thought!) on January 21st. Monday to Tuesday night he woke up with a bad cough. Very bad cough! Bark like sounding cough. Croup? So Tuesday made a trip to the doctors and what do you know, he had croup. But that only lasted until that night, and then it was back to normal wet sounding cough. By Friday the cough sounded much deeper then just in the throat, so we made another trip to the doctors, before the weekend you know. It turned out that he had some fluid in his lungs, a pre-bronchitis? So he is on antibiotics for 10 days. Five days down, five more to go. He still has the cough, but it doesn’t sound as deep and he is feeling much much better! Oh and that whole week he was running a fever.
Now the Princess is a few days behind her brother. Although she did managed to skip croup and head straight to the lungs filled with some liquid and the fever of course. Made a trip to the doctors last Monday. Oh and then on top of that, she has a mild ear infection. Her left ear is just a little infected. So yes, she is on antibiotics too. But we’re having a much harder time giving them to her, as she’s not really liking them. Where Kapitonas just takes his on goes on. I think we ended up waisting 3 doses. She kept spitting out. Then I tried mixing with strawberry milk, well she only drank half of that. Then some chocolate milk, but I think the chocolate doesn’t get rid of the medicine flavor that good, so she only drank half of it too. And no, I didn’t make a full cup, just a half of a little cup. Then today I told her that she either has to drink her chocolate milk, or she’ll be getting the medicine either she wants it or not.
Then on Tuesday, I woke up with a losing voice. Today is sounding worse then it was yesterday, but at least I can still talk.
I did start having a little cough here and there, so who knows what I have. Although I’ve heard that the losing voice thing has been going around.
Hubby is the healthiest one. He did take some medicine the other day, he thought he was coming down with something, but is totally fine today. So who knows?!
On a happier not, I just booked out plane tickets to LT for this summer. I’m so excited!!!! But that also means that more then likely I won’t be blogging much while I’m on vacation. But I will try to pop in here and there.
Well, I guess this will do for tonight and I’ll try to be back sooner then later!
