There still is hope
Since we’ll be soon heading out for the day, I thought I’d post something.
Kapitonas is feeling better today, still has a little sniffle here and there, but he is very active and being totally normal healthy boy. Which makes me wonder if he is getting some kind of allergies? It has been windy here the last couple days. Hubby gets allergies once in a while. He always gets itchy watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing when around cats. And once in a while he’ll get it from the wind. So there is a chance that Kapitonas might be starting to get them too. Who knows?! I guess we’ll see.
Even if this turns out to be allergies, I still feel the same way about sick people going to the partys. I just don’t understand this and I don’t think that I ever will.
Anyway…. it is gorgeous out here today. No wind, sunny, and temperature is in low 80s. Perfect if you ask me!

The shake
Today hasn’t been the best day for me. Mainly due to the fact that Kapitonas is coming down with some type of cold, thanks to other people. And today being a Friday, that means that more then likely I’ll be spending a weekend at home. Yay for me! (kidding)
Hubby went to get dinner and I stayed home with the kids and we did some water painting. They love it!! So Hubby gets home with one of my favorite shakes that are only available during this time of year. Pumpkin shake from Jack in the Box. Oh how I love that shake and it totally made my day! And just FYI, we did not have Jack for dinner. He was just driving by and saw the shake poster in the window and stopped by to get it for me. How sweet was that?!
Lets all do each other a favor

Here is the deal:
If you or any of your family members are sick, don’t even bother of going to any event where there will be other people around. I’m talking like birthday party’s, play dates, etc. I understand if you need to go to the store and get groceries. Fine. I totally understand that.
But when you come to a kids b-day party and you know you have a cold, I don’t care how much you wanted to get out of the house and take your kids out (even if they’re not sick), just don’t bother going, please! And you know why?! Because you’re passing all your germs to other people, most importantly kids. And I don’t think there is one single parent out there, that would want their kid to get sick. How would you feel if you were to go to a party, there you discover that there is a person who has a cold, and the next thing you know your kids are getting sick?? yeah, I don’t think you would enjoy that. No one would!! So do us (all healthy us) a favor, and just stay home if you have a freaking cold!!
I know, this is probably one of the meanest post from me ever, but I’m really starting to get sick and tired of people showing up to functions with colds or whatever else they have.
I know I always stay home and not go anywhere, because I don’t want other people to get sick, especially kids. Even if I think that I or my kids might be coming down with something, I’ll keep them away from everyone. Just in case.
Tomorrow we’re supposed to go and visit some friends that we haven’t seen for almost 3 years. We are really looking forward on seeing them and I know they do too. They haven’t even seen my daughter yet (she’s 2). So we’re really excited about it. Except there might be a small problem.
You see, Kapitonas woke up this morning with a runny/stuffy nose. I was hoping that it would be nothing. But unfortunately, as the day went on he got a little fever. Nothing really big, about 99.8. But still. I have a feeling he might be coming down with something big. Lucky me! NOT!!!
So lets all have an agreement, ok? If you’re sick, stay home, and I’ll do the same. With an exception of getting food and some might have to work, because I know some companies don’t give their employees sick days.
The show
Have I told you guys how much I love watching the Ellen DeGeneres show. I love it!! I record every episode so I don’t miss it. Out here the show comes on at 4 pm, so a lot of the times I’m either out or just doing something at home. I record it, so that I can watch it without any interruptions.
Some days I don’t get to watch it at all. But then other days like today, I watched 5 episodes! I know, I’m a dork. I’m a dork who loves Ellen! She is hilarious!
Last episode I watched was from 2 days ago where Cher was on the show. It was so neat to see her on tv and not perform. It was her first time on the show, so she was on for quite a while.
I was just about to type up something else, to make a post a little longer, but decided to wait till tomorrow.
I tried
Agh, there aren’t enough hours in a day! Seriously! I try so hard to sit down all day long and type something up and not be interrupted for 10 minutes. It just never happens. I have a lot of things on my mind that I want to talk about. It’s just that I know they will take a while to write it out, so I’m just waiting for that longer gap I get.
I’m so HAPPY that this whole election thing is over. Seriously!!! No more ads, no more calls.
It cooled off a little here in CA for the last several days, but today it warmed up again. I liked the cooler weather, I missed it. But the warmth felt good today. I guess it has been snowing in some parts if US. Wow! I couldn’t even imagine! Although it would be really, really nice to have a white Christmas.
We’ll see.
November – is a blogging month. That means that every day of November, you have to write something. Including weekends and holidays.
I tried doing it last year, but I think I missed a few days. Well I’m going to try it again this year. Wish me luck! It doesn’t have to be anything special, just a post. It could even be a picture. As long as there is something new posted each day.
So today is a 3rd day of the month, and that means that I have 27 days left.
** On a side note, Princess woke up at 6:15 am this morning. That means she got a little extra time of TV. But Kapitonas on the other hand slept till 8 am!! That would make it 9 am according to the old time. Yay!! At least somebody got some sleep.
Sleep in, please!
I knew that with this time change the kids will be waking up earlier. This morning they got up a little after 6 am. Thank goodness Hubby was home. As usual, Sunday morning he gets them and lets me sleep in.
Now I’m just dreading tomorrow. We put them down an hour later, which makes it same time according to this new time. I’m hoping they don’t get up at 6 tomorrow!
This is the first year that I didn’t start the time transitioning earlier. Usually in the past, I’ll start about a week or more before the actual time change, and start putting them down like 15 minutes later each day until I reach a good time for them to go down. Gosh, I hope this all makes sense!!

Only two more days left until the voting. I’m so getting annoyed with all the advertisements about it. Everywhere you go and everywhere you look, there they are! I’ll be so happy when Tuesday night comes.
And just for fun, since WordPress added a new feature “Polls”, I thought I’d create one and try it out.
Some people
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people these days?!?!?! Nobody cares about anything anymore. That’s sad.
We’ve been staying home a lot lately, due to one of us always being sick. But now finally, everyone seems to be doing better. Thank God! So yesterday I decided to venture out with the kids. I needed to get a few things at Wal Mart and then was planning on taking kids to Toys R Us, since it was really windy outside.
So we get to Wal Mart, I park next to the curb and there is no one parked next to me. It wasn’t even that crouded. And you know, Wal Marts are ALWAYS crowded.
So we get what we came for and drive down to Toys R Us. Parking lot was pretty empty. There were very few people in the store. It was kind of nice to walk around with no crowds. Kids enjoyed all the freedom. They loved looking at all the toys without a bunch of people in the aisles. But, we did not find what we were looking for there either. They were pretty stocked on the toys, except for the one we were looking for. Maybe after Halloween?
Finised editing today 
…. That night we all went out and Hubby noticed that there are 3 big dents on the back door behind the passenger. The side where Kapitonas sits. THREE DENTS!!! OMG!! There were little scratches around them, but the dents?! I was sooooo mad. Still am! How can people do something like that?!?!?! It’s not just a little scratch that can be buffed out. It’s not a little ding on the bumper. THREE DENTS on our new car. The car is not even 6 months old.
I know that it’s just a car, things will happen, it’s wear and tear. But it’s my new car! I still can’t get over it and it’s been a week already. I thought I’d just deal with it, but after seeing it every day, I don’t think I can drive it like that. So yeah, we will be taking it in somewhere to get it fix. Hopefully we won’t have to replace the door.
Another thing is that it doesn’t look like the dent came from the shopping cart. It’s kind of in an angle and we tried putting Target shopping cart next to the car and there is no way that it could have dented in tree spots.
So yeah, now I have a new beat up car.
